Faith-Based Conference—held May 26, 2009

Congratulations to our participants, planners, vendors and speakers, for a successful 2009 conference hosted by Oakland Schools and provided by Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority. And, thank you to Common Ground for fudiciary support.

 

Goals Achieved:

· Recruited Faith-Based Leadership, Educators and Mental Health Professionals into Suicide Prevention efforts

· Provided Suicide Prevention Education

· Encouraged gatekeeping in our communities

· Provided Suicide Prevention resources

The OCSPC Mission is to reduce suicides and suicide attempts across the lifespan in Oakland and surrounding counties through information, education and action.
